September 2015 – You cannot go to New York City and not have pizza, it simply cannot be done!

So during my recent trip to NYC, while in Brooklyn, I was set on trying Juliana’s Pizza.  A lot has been written about the rivalry between Juliana’s and Grimaldi’s, next door. Juliana’s was founded by the same people behind Grimaldi’s. Patsy & Carol Grimaldi sold Grimaldi’s years ago, but their passion for good pizza was too strong and they opened Juliana’s, in Grimaldi’s original location. Since then, the battle is on :who makes the best pizza!

We arrived at Juliana’s and joined the line, which proved to move quite quickly thanks to the efficient host who kept things moving!

The menu is fairly simple. We selected our pizza, then had to decide between 2 sizes: small or large. Since there is only a 2 inch difference between both, we went for large!

The pizza was DE-LI-CIOUS! The thin crust was light and crisp! Very simple pizza but a really great pizza! And we ate it all!

Juliana’s is easy to find, near the Brooklyn Bridge and worth the trip and the wait!
