May 2015 – I walked past this restaurant so many times! Why did I wait so long!

A small restaurant on a quiet downtown street, between King & Queen, whose chef, Scott Vivian, has been praised by none other than Anthony Bourdain! We were in for a treat!

Food is served tapas-style, bread is home-made, produce and meats are sourced locally and the wine list features a lot of Canadian wines.  A sample of what we had : house tartar, canadian artisanal cheeses (from Ontario, Québec and BC), smoked trout tart, cuttlefish. Everything was DE-LI-CIOUS! Since we were there between 5-7pm, a glass of Château des Charmes cabernet-sauvignon was only $5!

Service was professional and friendly. Overall, we had a great meal, at a very reasonable price.  If you’re in Toronto, looking for a small, quiet restaurant with outstanding food, this restaurant is highly recommended!
